The Italian Society of Herbal Medicine (S.I.Fit.) was founded in 1992 in Siena with the aim at stimulating the transition from phytotherapy based on empiricism to phytotherapy based on scientific experimentation. Hortus Novus, a member of S.I.Fit., shares this approach in full and participated a couple of years at the interesting annual conference that, this year, will be held in Arezzo, on 26 and 27 May. Our research manager, Maria Maggi PhD, will present an oral communication entitled “New Phytochemical Acquisitions and Quality of Crocus Sativus”.
