European Retina Meeting 2017 was held from 5th to the 7th October in Paris, France.

This Meeting brought together the best specialists in vision, especially in retinal research, from all over the world. Our current understanding of the retinal information processing is now making it possible to design rational therapies for a number of diseases impairing the visual system.

The scientists presented highlights of the recent progress in retinal network analysis, introduce new concepts and their implications for both neuronal information processing. They will introduce insights to the mechanisms of light damage and blinding diseases. Finally, they will describe new strategies for disease prevention and restoring vision.

Our scientific advisor Professor Silvia Bisti ( University of L’Aquila) participated at the meeting.
